Flagstaff Hill, Russell: RC 2060154 Waitoto Developments LTD to create 11 Lots at Flagstaff Road. We attended the hearing at the Council chambers. The FNDC declined the application in full, however Waitoto has appealed the decision the the Environment Court. The application is non-complying under the Transitional and Proposed District Plan. Waitoto Development has appealed the decision to the Environment Court. The RPS has filed notice to become an interested party in support of the FNDC's decision.

Old Russell Road: Application to create 2 Lots at Russell Road.
The application was non-complying under the Transitional and Proposed District Plan. The FNDC has declined consent. (click to read submission)
PDP5 - Proposed District Plan Variation to reintroduce height rules in all Commercial Zones where no other height rules exist. A two day hearing was been held and we spoke to the submission. A permitted height of 12 meters was reinstated, it should never have been removed in the first place.
Russell Wharf: Application for a Coastal Permit by Far North Holdings for extensions and modifications to the Russell Wharf.
Russell Heights Road: Application to extend an existing dwelling including a new boat shed, car port and driveways / parking. The RPS attended the hearing on 13 December 2006. The Council granted consent on 13 March 07 and the decision was appealed to the Environment Court by one of the submitters.
